    Here it is!  The offer that all of your employees have been waiting and asking about.  A deal that includes the L.A. Lakers.  The Lakers are a Premium game, so seats are at face value (which is a great deal to get in the building for a Lakers game and not have to pay 3 times face value!).  Seats are in Club 200 and very limited.

    President Obama has signed H.R. 2 which is the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009.  It is the purpose of this Act to provide dependable and stable funding for children’s health insurance under titles XXI and XIX of the Social Security Act in order to enroll all six million uninsured children who are eligible, but not enrolled, for coverage today through such titles.

    As a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, there are increased limits on the Pre-tax commuting/parking benefit.  Eligible employees can recognize pre-tax benefits from public transportation expenses. For more background, enrollment forms and the Summary Plan Description:

    The IRS has released inflation adjustments for 2010. By law, the dollar amounts for a variety of tax provisions must be revised each year to keep pace with inflation. As a result, more than three dozen tax benefits, affecting virtually every taxpayer, will NOT be adjusted for 2010

    Great News!! Today, the IRS released Notice 2008-104, which delays the need for all pharmacies and drug stores to implement an Inventory Information Approval System (IIAS) or certify that 90% of their gross receipts were derived from the purchase of eligible medical expenses in order for payment cards to be used at their locations.
